Kaleidoscope of Memoirs: Penang Hill Festival Press Conference

We’ve been holding this in for a while… and we’re finally ready to say it out loud. Elsiewithlove is beyond excited to officially be part of the Penang Hill Festival 2026 happening from 17–19 July at the iconic Penang Hill. This year marks the 7th edition of the festival, and it’s shaping up to be bigger and more meaningful than ever, celebrating the beauty of nature, heritage, culture, and creativity, all in one magical place 🌿

During the press conference, YB Wong Hon Wai shared how the festival continues to grow in both scale and significance, especially as Penang Hill gains global recognition as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. For 2026, the festival will feature 34 programmes across 11 unique locations including trails like Viaduct, Moniot & Crag Heritage. We believe for sure there is something for everyone out there, from guided nature walks to photography workshops, exhibitions, expert talks, and family-friendly activities

On the hill, Kakpoot meets a new friend, Tupai, the cheerful guardian of Penang Hill. This time, Kakpoot & Tupai will be your companions, guiding you through trails, sharing stories about, wildlife and species we should protect, the architecture and heritage of the hill and hidden gems you might otherwise miss. Think of it as an adventure with Kakpoot & Tupai, one where you explore, learn, and rediscover Penang Hill in a whole new way.

In collaboration with the festival, Elsiewithlove is bringing you the PHF 2026 Stamp Rally...Hooray! It is definitely going to be a playful and meaningful experience designed to connect people with nature through storytelling and creativity. Participants will receive a postcard to collect stamps from 4 unique stations. Each stop highlights the history, nature, and hidden stories of Penang Hill. Finish the stamp rally and you’ll get to redeem a limited edition Wira the Sun Bear keychain 🐻✨, proudly sponsored by Tourism Malaysia.
